Data-principal rights

Access, correction, erasure, nomination and grievance — every right the Act gives your customers, handled on time and on record.

What the DPDP Act requires

The DPDP Act gives every Data Principal enforceable rights: to access a summary of their data (S.11), to correction, completion and erasure (S.12), to grievance redressal (S.13), and to nominate someone to exercise their rights (S.14). You must be able to honour each, within time.

Rights requests that go to a dead inbox are a common failure. The Act expects a working process with timelines and records.
